11-03-05 - Wood Ridge 2nd Alarm - 229 Floral Court Shortly after the Wallington 2nd Alarm on Bond Pl was placed under control, the Wood Ridge Fire Department responded to a house fire of their own. Shortly after 11pm, fire due units arrived at 229 Floral Court and found heavy fire blowing out the front 1st floor bedroom in a 2sty private dwelling. Fire was already auto-exposed into the 2nd floor before lines could be stretched. Good apparatus placement and aggressive interior attacks contained the fire within the area of origin. Two firefighters were transported for heat related injuries.
