Shortly after 2am on Thursday, April 2nd 2009 the Paterson NJ Fire Department called a working fire at 506 Broadway near East 22nd St. Companies had heavy fire in a 2nd floor rear apartment in a 3sty 40x60 mixed occupancy building. Crews advanced lines as the fire extended to the 3rd floor and the exposure “B” building. A 2nd alarm was called as a precaution however the fire was knocked down before it could reach the cockloft.
