1-08-07 - Paterson 3rd Alarm - 349 Marshall St On Monday January 8th 2007 the Paterson Fire Department responded to 349 Marshall St on a reported fire. Prior to FD arrival, the Passaic County Sheriff’s Department was already in the process of rescuing occupants from the fire building and it’s exposures. When FD arrived, they found heavy fire on the 2nd fl of a 2.5sty frame extending into a similar. Heavy fire conditions and a need for additional searches quickly prompted a 2nd alarm. With fire advancing into a 3rd 2.5sty frame and with limited access to the fire buildings a 3rd alarm was finally requested. Fire was contained to the original buildings with minor damage to the 3rd. A total of 8 residents were displaced and there were no reported injuries.
