03-08-07 - Hackensack NJ 3rd Alarm - 685 Main St. On Thursday March 8th 2007 the Hackensack NJ Fire Department responded to 685 Main Street on a reported fire. On arrival companies requested an immediate 2nd alarm as they were met with heavy fire blowing out the 2nd floor windows. Mutual aid fast team and stand by companies were also requested. Fire fire involved the 2nd fl and attic of a 2.5sty 25x60 mixed occupancy frame. Companies utilized several outside master streams to knock down the fire and protect attached exposures. There were no reported injuries and the arson squad was subsequently requested.
