On Monday July 30th 2007 Manhattan companies responded to 102-104 East 124th St on the corner of Park Ave after receiving multiple calls reporting a building fire. On arrival companies had heavy fire in the cockloft of a 5sty brick vacant multiple dwelling. A 2nd alarm was requested as well as 2 additional trucks above the 2nd alarm later on. <p> Companies quickly knocked down interior fire with 2 hand lines and truck companies vented the lower floors. Fire was contained to a 5th fl room and cockloft without extension to the neighboring address. Cause of the fire was considered suspicious and no injuries were reported.
