On Saturday, October 20th 2007 down town companies responded to Box-0712 located at West 34th St and the corner of 9th Ave for multiple calls reporting smoke from a restaurant. <p> On arrival companies found moderate smoke filling the 1st floor restaurant of a 2sty corner taxpayer. Crews forced entry and confirmed a "10-75" after discovering fire in the duct work. One 2.5" hand line operated to knock down the fire with minimal, if any, damage to the building itself.
