On Sunday December 6th, 2009 the Passaic NJ Fire Department responded to 353 Aycrigg Ave on a reported fire. Companies arrived to find heavy fire showing from the rear of a 2.5sty unoccupied private dwelling. This was the department's second response to this house as they knocked down an unrelated working fire the night before. Crews were withdrawn from the building due to fire conditions as mutual aid was requested. There were no reported injuries.
