On Sunday afternoon, August 26th 2007 the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to 8-2 Angela Place after receiving numerous calls reporting a fire. First due Engine 2 reported fire showing from the 1st fl of an end unit apartment. Due to the remote location of the apartment, and limited roadway access, companies had long hose stretches to reach the fire. Fire consumed the 1st fl apartment with some moderate extension to the 2nd floor. Aggressive interior attacks maintained the fire to the original apartment before I could reach the cockloft.
