On Monday September 3rd, 2007 the Paterson NJ Fire Department was responding to a reported fire on Ramsey St. While enroute to that call (which turned out to be a small rubbish fire), a company happen to find a house fire on Marshall St at the corner of Slater St. (84 Marshall St)<p> The first arriving company reported heavy fire showing out the top floor windows of a 3sty attached frame. With resources rerouted, firefighters were able to get lines into operation quickly and prevent extension to the exposures. There was some stubborn fire around an exposure "D" side window which was later knocked down after some extensive truck work. <p> There were no reported injuries however numerous firefighters were rehabbed due to heat.
