During the early morning hours of Thursday, November 8th 2007 the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to the area of 58 East 16th St on a reported fire. On arrival companies found heavy fire on the 2nd floor and attic of a 2.5sty frame extending into the exposures. A 2nd alarm was requested shortly after arrival. Crews knocked down most fire with outside deck guns and contained the exposure buildings with interior operations before additional damage could occur. <p> Crews had difficulty gaining access to the attic of the exposure building initially and thus fire eventually vented through the truck cuts. Once in the attic, companies quickly knocked down remaining fire. There were no reported injuries.
