On Wednesday, April 25th 2012 the Elmwood Park NJ Fire Department responded to 30 Stefanic Ave on a reported fire. First arriving units, OEM-1, requested a "Commercial 2nd alarm" when confronted with heavy fire showing out of the Exposure A attic walls. Exterior operations were quickly put into operation to darken the fire. Mutual aid companies arrived to assist with fire that extended down the wall towards the main 2sty. Crews were able to contain fire before it reached the remainder of the building by containing the fire to just the "A" Wall.
