05-01-11 - Paterson 3rd Alarm - 716 East 22nd St

On Sunday, May 1st 2011 the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to the area of East 22nd St near Park Ave for multiple calls reporting a fire. First arriving companies reported heavy fire venting from the rear of a 2.5sty multiple dwelling. Crews quickly advanced lines as fire was already extending into the upper floors. A 2nd alarm was requested but deteriorated interior conditions hampered access to the attic. One dog was removed DOA from the home and a 3rd alarm was later requested for manpower rotation.
