On Wednesday, January 5th, 2011 the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to 130 North Main St on a reported fire. First arriving companies found heavy fire visible from the 2nd and 3rd fl’s of a 3sty occupied multiple dwelling extending into exposures. Additional alarm levels were called as fire raced through cocklofts and companies were engaged in searches for reported trapped occupants. Fire extended to a two story multiple dwelling and three story mixed occupancy on the Exposure B side and a three story similar on the Exposure D side. Arson was requested as the original fire was the scene of previous fires in the recent past.
