08-14-11 - Garfield 2nd Alarm - 211 Harrison Ave

On Sunday, August 14th the Garfield NJ Fire Department responded to 211 Harrison Ave on a reported fire. Companies arrived to find heavy smoke showing from a 1st floor Chinese restaurant in a 2sty25x60 mixed occupancy. Crews operated 3 hand lines on a kitchen fire which extended to the walls. Firefighters were able to contain the fire before it reached the 2nd floor.
