In the early morning hours of Saturday, December 18th 2010 the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to the area of Park & Summer (353 Summer St) on numerous calls reporting a fire. First arriving units found heavy fire on the 1st floor and venting out 2nd floor windows of a 3sty mixed occupancy building. Crews quickly knocked down heavy visible fire with master streams as additional alarm levels were called. Fire had extended throughout the 3rd floors and cockloft as alarm levels began to arrive. A fire wall helped contain the fire to the original half of the building. Mutual aid was directed into the scene to assist with water supply for the 3 ladders and numerous master streams that operated for almost 3 hours knocking down the fire. There were no reported injuries.
