2-11-06 - Hackensack Fatal All Hands - 231 Passaic St Shortly after midnight on Friday February 11th 2006, the Hackensack NJ Fire Department responded to 231 Passaic St for a reported house fire. This job was transmitted shortly after companies requested a 2nd alarm on Essex St (which I missed). First due companies found heavy fire in the attic apartment of a 2.5sty frame. Fire was quickly knocked down and 1 resident was found d.o.a. in the fire room. No other injuries were reported.
