On Saturday, July 23rd 2011 the Clifton NJ Fire Department arrived at 820 Bloomfield Ave to find a well involved dumpster already extending to a commercial building. With fire extending to the roof of a 1sty and 2sty attached commercials, a 2nd alarm was requested. Use of 2.5" hand lines quickly knocked down most of the fire and overhaul around the roof line prevented further damage. There were no reported injuries.
