12-18-05 - Hackensack 2nd Alarm - 137 Kansas St. Shortly after 1am on December 18th, the Hackensack Fire Department responded to 137 Kansas St. Companies arrived to find heavy fire quickly extending through a 2 1/2 story private dwelling and requested an immediate 2nd alarm. Due to the rapidly advancing fire conditions, command ordered a building evacuation and exterior operations. There were no reported injuries and the cause was still under investigation.
