11-25-06 - Prospect Park Working Fire - 277 North 8th St. On Saturday November 25th 2006 the Prospect Park NJ Fire Department responded to 277 North 8th St for a reported fire. Along with the assistance of the Paterson Fire Department, companies were able to quickly contain a fire in a 3.5sty mixed occupancy frame. The fire originated by roof workers on the 1st floor extension to the frame. Quick placement of a 2.5” handline made it possible to contain the fire to the area of origin with minimal damage to the house. There was 1 civilian with burns to the hands reported at this incident.
