5-12-06 - Wayne Working Fire - 30 Little Pond Road On Friday afternoon, May 12th the Wayne NJ Fire Department responded to 30 Little Pond Road on a reported attic fire. On arrival co’s found smoke showing from 2nd floor windows as well as attic eves. First due engine quickly put 2 lines into operation. Once inside, it was determined that the fire started in a 2nd fl bedroom and extended to the attic area. Aggressive interior attacks maintained the fire to the area of origin and a vent hole was cut as a precaution. There were no reported injuries.
