8-14-06 - Paterson General Alarm - 16 Seeley Street Just before Midnight on Monday August 14th 2006 the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to 16 Seeley St off of Market St for a reported fire. On arrival, companies found heavy fire blowing out he front of a 2sty 20X40 frame. With arching wires and a rapidly advancing fire, companies had difficulty in placing initial handlines. Additional alarms and mutual aid was quickly requested as the fire began extending into additional frames. With the assistance of 2 ladder pipes companies began controlling the fire making it possible for handlines to begin to advance. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
