On Thursday, February 11th 2010 the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to their third building fire of the night. This was located at 318 McLean Blvd at the corner of 20th Ave. Companies arrived to find smoke showing from a 2sty 100x100 commercial building in a complex of connected commercials. This was also the scene of a previous General Alarm fire approximately 9-10 years ago. As command established and found fire visible from the roof area, a 2nd alarm was called into staging.
Companies began setting up exterior operations as additional alarm levels were called. Once the visible fire was k/d, crews began interior search and located a body of fire within a portion of the building which was contained by sprinklers and later knocked down with hand lines. There were no reported injuries.
