On Wednesday, January 16th 2008 the Paterson NJ Fire Department arrived at 423 East 32nd st on the corner of 20th Ave and found a well involved 2.5sty frame. Initial reports from civilians stated that residents were trapped on the upper floors. A 2nd alarm was quickly called as fire blew out all 1st floor windows. Companies quickly put exterior lines and deck guns into operation but were unable to enter the building for some time. There were minor injuries reported and no fatalities at the time of this writing.
