12-19-06 - Fort Lee 2nd Alarm - 96 Bluff Rd On Tuesday December 19th 2006 the Fort Lee NJ fire department responded to 96 Bluff Road on a reported fire alarm. Heavy fire was found on arrival showing from a 2nd floor balcony doorway. A 2nd alarm was requested by the first arriving chief. A crew happened to already be at the nearest firehouse which put the company enroute to the fire just after the call was received. First arriving engine made an aggressive interior attack and quickly knocked down the heavy fire. Fire was contained to the original area with minor damage to the roofline. There were no reported injuries.
