12-14-05 - Lodi 3rd Alarm - 41 Union St The Lodi Fire Department responded to 41 Union St earlier this afternoon after a report of a possible fire. Upon arrival, companies found heavy smoke pushing from the roof and front doors of the Lodi American Legion Post-136. Mutual aid was quickly requested as the fire had rapidly advanced through the building prior to fire department arrival. Due to a quick collapse of the interior ceilings and attic, companies had no choice but to conduct exterior operations early on in the fire. The only occupant escaped without injury and one firefighter was treated for unk type injuries. Cause of the fire is still under investigation.
