1-25-05 - Yonkers 5th Alarm - 100 Caryl St At approximately 1850hrs, Yonkers firefighters arrived at 100 Caryl St to find a 1st fl apartment fire quickly extending through the walls of a 7sty 150x80 apartment building. Command quickly went through the alarm levels as the fire started entering apartments on each of the 7 floors until breaking through the roof almost an hour later. At least 1 firefighter was transported with non-life threatening injuries and several others were treated and released on the scene. Numerous residents were displaced and firefighters remained on the scene overnight overhauling.
