2-12-06 - Paterson General Alarm - 108 North 2nd St Around 1030pm on Sunday night the Paterson Fire Department responded to 108 North 2nd St for a reported fire. First due companies found heavy fire blowing out of a 2.5 story 20x60 frame with serious exposure problems. Due to a recent 15" snow storm, frozen hydrants, a rapdily advancing fire, and rescues being made, additional alarm levels were required. Fire quickly extended to the left exposure (exposure-B) which was a similar type building. Two residents, both elderly, were removed by the fire department. Both had received burns and were listed in unknown condition that evening. Cause of the fire is unknown and no other injuries were reported.
