3-10-06 - Hackensack 2nd Alarm - 60 Johnson Ave In the early morning hours of Friday March 10th, the Hackensack Fire Department responded to 60 Johnson Ave on a reported house fire. On arrival, companies found heavy fire blowing out the 1st floor windows on all sides of a 2.5sty private dwelling. Immediate attacks with 2.5" handlines quickly knocked down fire enabling companies to get inside. Due to the already advanced fire, companies hit heavy fire on the 2nd floor and also the attic. Aggressive interior attacks made it possible to bring the fire under control in a short amount of time. M/A was requested for cascade and fast team purposes. There were no reported injuries.
