5-29-06 - Paramus Working Fire - 76 Harvey Ave On Memorial Day, May 29th 2006 the Paramus Fire Department responded to 76 Harvey Ave off of Plaza Way for a reported house fire. First due companies arrived and had heavy fire showing out the 1st windows on all sides of the house which sent up a column of smoke visible for miles. Command quickly requested exterior operations due to the heavy fire conditions. An additional engine and truck were requested to assist and mutual aid was only used for cover. There were no reported injuries and the fire was still under investigation.
