05-04-08 - Prospect Park 2nd Alarm - 85 North 16th St.

On Sunday, May 4th 2008 just before 4am the Prospect Park Fire Department responded to 85 North 16th St on a reported fire. On arrival companies found heavy fire blowing out of a 1sty extension to a 2sty 25x40 private dwelling. Mutual aid from Haledon and Paterson was quickly requested as a deck gun knocke down the visible fire.

Interior crews operated on extended fire into the 2nd floor anSaved the fire was placed under control in approximately an hour.
