On Tuesday, May 8th 2012 just after 3am, the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to 818 East 19th St on a reported fire. Companies arrived to find a fully involved 2.5sty 25x40 vacant dwelling fully involved and extending into a similar occupied exposure on the right side. Battalion 1 arrived a moment later and requested a 2nd alarm. Crews quickly placed large outside lines into operation darkening the Alpha side fire. A 3rd alarm was later requested for manpower to assist with additional lines. There were no reported injuries and the fire was contained to the two dwellings before being placed pwh.
