On Thursday, February 24th 2011 the Fair Lawn NJ Fire Department responded to 2-06 Fair Lawn Ave after receiving multiple calls reporting a fire. First arriving chief found fire blowing out 10 windows from all four sides and through the roof of a 2.5sty occupied 2-family dwelling. Crews were able to darken down heavy fire with outside streams in a short amount of time. Media outlets reported a resident was rescued by a “good Samaritan” prior to Fire Department arrival. There were no reported injuries.
