On Friday August 8th 2008 at approximately 1700hrs the Closter NJ Fire Department responded to 52 Closter Dock Rd on a reported house fire. First due units found the front portion of a 2sty dwelling fully involved. Crews quickly put 1 hand line and the bedded bucket of the ladder truck into operation and quickly knocked down a large amount of fire. <p> Mutual aid companies were requested to the scene and assisted with 2 additional handlines and overhaul. Several firefighters were evaluated for heat but no injuries were reported.
