7-23-06 - Nutley 2nd Alarm - Prospect & Church St's. Shortly after 1am on Sunday July 23rd the Nutley NJ Fire Department responded to Prospect St near Church St for a reported house fire. On arrival, companies found heavy fire on the 2nd fl of a 2sty frame under construction. Due to the occupancy, companies automatically went to exterior operations. Several outside hand lines and a ladder were put into operation. The fire consumed the attic area which was difficult to reach from the exterior. Additional mutual aid was requested for water supply and manpower. There were no reported injuries other then heat exhaustion evaluations.
