04-07-07 - Paterson - Working Fire - 989 Madison Ave

On Saturday April 7th 2007 the Paterson Fire Department responded to 989 Madison Ave after a passing fire unit radioed in a working fire. Companies found heavy fire on the 2nd fl and attic of a 2.5sty private dwelling. Crews quickly put 2 lines into operation as well as vented the roof. Interior crews had some difficulty entering the attic but were able to knocked down visible fire in a relatively short amount of time.

There were no reported injuries.
