08-01-11 - Totowa 2nd Alarm - 51 Norwood Terr

On Monday, August 1st, 2011 the Totowa NJ Fire Department responded to 51 Norwood Terr on reported smoke from a dwelling. On arrival, Chief 970 reported smoke showing from the attic of a 1st dwelling with close exposures. A 2nd alarm was requested as daytime manpower and a bad initial water supply were of concern. 2 lines operated and contained the fire in front of the attic despite heavy debris conditions. There were no reported injuries.
