On Sunday morning, December 4th 2011, the Paterson NJ Fire Department responded to 438 21st Ave at the corner of East 22nd St for a reported fire. First arriving units found heavy fire in the basement, extending up the rear porches, of a 3sty 30x60 mixed occupancy. Fire quickly traveled through the cockloft and a 2nd alarm was requested. Companies operated for approximately an hour before going PWH. Minor injuries were sustained.
